GSTONE TURAS SHOT

BERLIN, JANUARY 1, 1930 - It is with great sadness that we report the tragic circumstances surrounding a shooting accident involving Gstone Turas, publisher of Berliner Post Newspaper and Berliner STYL Magazin.

On New Years Day following the Murder Mystery Party, she was shot by a young friend - who she caught playing with a handgun at her Hawksmoor Penthouse Apartment in Seraph City Sim.

Her injuries are massive and doctors can't say for certain how long her recovery may take.  Zeno McAuley, Editor-in Chief of Berliner Post and the victim's husband said when contacted, "It's ironic that this accidental shooting would happen... you see in the newspaper business you sometimes make enemies and she's made her share, but to be shot by a friend,  even accidentally is just shocking."

When asked how long Gstone would be away from the newspaper, magazine, and her other 1920s Berlin Project businesses Zeno couldn't say.  He reported that there has been some discussion of selling the MittelEuropaische Reiseburo (Travel Bureau), and the Galerie Glitzern und Schiksal and Erotische Szene Art Galeries....  He will need help to publish the next edition of the newspaper.

Anyone interested in either buying the businesses or in helping Zeno McAuley publish can contact Jo Yardley, or Zeno McAuley.

STYL MAGAZIN - Herbst und Winter Issue #2 Published

When light and shadow shift places like great actors on the stage, fashion follows suit with weightier fabrics and deeper, richer colors...  So begins the essay by fashion editor Cordelia Bellinghausen.

A dark mood descends and becomes the theme for the Herbst und Winter (Fall and Winter) Issue of 1920s Berliner STYL Magazin (Magazine).

Photographed on location in Second Life at 1920s Berlin Project Test Sim, this Semi-Annual look at Womens Fashion is showcased against the backdrop of the city.  There is a strict dress code in 1920s Berlin and STYL Magazin is the insider's guide to what's fashionable for day or evening in this authentic historic second life sim.

STYL is available for free in world at art deco kiosks at the landing point, in front of the entrance to the Berliner Post Newspaper Office, at the Travel Bureau (MittelEuropaische Reiseburo), and at the Newstand in 1920s Berlin.  In Seraph City at the Weimar Shoppe.  It is published semi-annually as a Supplement to 1920s Berliner Post Newspaper.

Read All About It! 1920s Berliner Post is Online

As publisher of 1920s Berliner Post Newspaper and 1920s Berliner STYL Magazine, it gives me great pleasure to introduce our new venture - 1920s Berliner Post Online.  The importance of expanding the distribution of our publications beyond Second Life is very important for our subscribers, advertisers, contributors, and more importantly for the expansion of Jo Yardley's 1920s Berlin Project.

We will use this new media to broaden our scope a bit.  Our esteemed Editor-In-Chief Zeno McAuley has an opportunity to showcase a wider array of literary and artistic talent, and just as important is our ability to link ourselves together with an already vibrant online community devoted to Weimar Era Berlin.

Wilkommen Berliners!
